Frequently Asked Questions
Do You Have a Shop?
No, we are completely mobile and all work is done at your location.
Why Do I Have to Email a Picture of the Dent?
Because all dents aren't repairable with PDR, and a picture is the only way to accurately determine if the repair is possible.

No, we only repair dents in metal body panels. Go to www.expressbumperrepair.com for plastic bumper repair.
What is PDR?
Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is the process of eliminating small dents and dings without removing the original finish from the vehicle. This is accomplished by precisely pushing the dent out from the rear of the panel using specially designed tools.
What are the advantages of PDR?
The most significant advantage is quality. PDR is the next best thing to the dent never happening in the first place. Since your original finish is not removed, no body fillers, sanding, or primer is required. There are no typical concerns such as the paint matching correctly, overspray, or filler shrinkage. Also, PDR is about 25-30% of the cost of a body shop.
Time is another factor with PDR. A typical golf ball sized door ding takes only about an hour to repair. Hail damage is often repaired in less than a day. A body shop may take anywhere from several days to a few weeks for the same repair.
Paintless dent removal also helps save the environment. No paint is sprayed, and no solvents or toxic chemicals are used, which is common for a typical body shop.
Will my paint be damaged?
No. Modern automotive paints are very pliable and will not be harmed in any way by paintless dent removal. PDR is the only repair method which allows you to keep your original factory paint.
Will my dents be completely gone?
Yes, in most cases. Dents the size of a golf ball or smaller will usually be 100% gone. And on larger dents, most people are astonished at the results.
Will my dents reappear?
No. Paintless dent repair is a permanent process, and the damage never comes back.
Can any dent be repaired?
No. The biggest factors in deciding if a dent can be fixed by PDR are location and depth. A dent the size of a basketball or larger may be able to be repaired successfully, as long it is not very deep. But, a very deep dime sized dent may not be repairable because the metal is stretched too much. The paint may also crack if the dent is too deep.
Damage the size of a golf ball or smaller is the most common repair. Depth or location issues prevent about 5% of minor dents from being repaired. But, about 95% of minor dents can be repaired. Difficult areas include fender lips, the front of hoods, sharp body lines, and on the edge of a panel.

Will PDR improve my car’s resale value?
When selling a car, appearance is everything. And the better a car appears to be kept, the more it will be worth. Used car dealers are aware of this. They know it will help them sell the car faster, and what they spend on PDR will be returned many times over when the car is sold. If you’re selling your car, PDR will help you get the highest price, more prospective buyers, and a faster sale. Call 210-421-4883 for an estmate.
